Southwest ToyotaLift is seeking a Field Technician to perform mechanical repairs and service on customer equipment. The role involves traveling to customer sites, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring equipment is maintained to company standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs on gasoline/LPG/electric/diesel forklifts, documenting work orders, and maintaining safety and vehicle readiness. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years forklift/material handling technician experience.
• Clean driving record and DMV check.
• Ability to drive company vehicle to customer sites.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Willingness to attend technical classes when offered.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to service forklifts and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and write clear repair recommendations.
• Repair gasoline, LPG, electric or diesel-powered forklifts as needed.
• Replace worn or broken parts, adjust brakes, and align wheels.
• Lubricate equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner for billing.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any issues to supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
