Maschio's Food Service Inc. seeks dependable Traveling Substitute Food Service Workers to support our school food service program across multiple locations in New Jersey.

This on-call role requires reliable transportation and willingness to travel between campuses, with daytime shifts and an on-call schedule. Responsibilities include helping with food prep, serving students, operating the POS system, stocking and cleaning, and following safety procedures.

We are seeking dependable and flexible Traveling Substitute Food Service Workers to support our school food service program at various locations. This is an on-call position with work available as needed. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel.

Schedule

• Day shift, Monday through Friday
• Approximately 3-6 hours per day when scheduled
• No weekends or holidays
• Summers off
• On-call, as-needed basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and meal assembly.
• Serve meals to students in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and perform cashier duties.
• Stock, organize, and rotate food and supplies.
• Wash dishes and maintain clean kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with other cafeteria duties as needed.

Qualifications:
