Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a dependable Traveling Floor Cleaner to perform a wide range of floor care and general cleaning duties across multiple work sites. This role requires extensive travel (70%–90%), primarily Monday through Friday, to support cleaning operations in various states.

You will perform carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, dusting, and equipment upkeep while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. In-person work location and a bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel 70% to 90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and wash waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.

The role requires extensive travel—70% to 90% Monday through Friday to support cleaning operations in various states, including tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, dusting, pressure washing, and equipment upkeep.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Required:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Travel commitment of 70% to 90% of the time, Monday through Friday
• Willingness to travel to different work sites across multiple states
