This role involves working independently to install, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm, intrusion, access control systems, and related infrastructure.

Minimum requirements:

• Field installation experience in security environments (Fire Alarm, Intrusion, Access Control)
• NICET certification (preferred)
• Valid state-specific Physical Security or Life Safety license
• Knowledge of NFPA standards (NFPA 70 and 72)
• Availability to travel and work at heights of 20’-60’
• Experience reading blueprints and site maps
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Responsibilities include:

• Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing cabling and systems in fire alarm, IP video, access control, and intrusion alarm systems
• Running low voltage cabling, including drilling and conduit work
• Ensuring all systems meet safety and code requirements
• Performing tests and commissioning of systems
• Collaborating with team leads and project managers to ensure timely project completion
