  • Hourly wage range of $20-38/hour based on experience
Minimum Requirements:
  • Field installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm / Intrusion / Access Control
  • NICET certification (Preferred)
  • Valid Physical Security and/or Life Safety license in the applicable technology
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72
  • Willingness to travel, sometimes for several weeks
  • Work mainly during daytime hours, with some night shifts
  • Ability to work at heights of 20’-60’ on lifts
  • Experience reading blueprints and site maps
  • Experience with multiple Intrusion/Access system manufacturers is a plus
  • Ability to assist with pre-installation planning and design solutions
  • Perform installations and provide technical support on-site and remotely
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic PPE and reliable transportation during training
  • Proficiency with computers, smartphones, and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems and equipment in various security and fire alarm systems
  • Run low voltage cabling, including drilling and conduit work
  • Complete wiring, connections, and installations ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Program and test fire alarm systems, mount sensors, and ensure code compliance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with team members
  • Ensure all systems are operational and meet legal and safety standards
