Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security in the Dallas area seeks a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician with experience in low-voltage installations to support government and commercial projects.

The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining security systems, traveling extensively, and interfacing with customers on site. Candidates should have CPR/First Aid, an electrician certificate or trainee card, a high school diploma, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Travel extensively and work autonomously in field environments.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication to interface with customers.
• Ability to call and schedule appointments and understand code requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and with a team.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing background/MVR screenings.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite and provides product training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure client readiness for inspection.
