Job summary

Van Meter is seeking a Contractor Field Services Team Member to coordinate materials, manage inventory, and support jobsite operations on customer projects. You will ensure timely receipt, preparation, delivery, and safe handling of materials to keep projects moving and disruptions to a minimum.

This role requires temporary relocation for 6–18 months and willingness to travel across the United States. Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and be able to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States for extended assignments.
• Preferred: customer service experience, warehouse/field operations exposure.
• Willingness to obtain CDL and DOT qualifications as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for customer projects.
• Manage incoming and outgoing project materials.
• Pick inventory, cut wire, label products, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through tracking and cycle counts.
• Support jobsite operations and material coordination.
• Deliver materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Inspect, maintain, and organize tools and equipment.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and other equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments.
• Collaborate with customers and internal business partners.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Cross-train and provide operational support across functions.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Manage company resources and travel-related expenses responsibly.
