Job summary

Van Meter Inc. is seeking a Contractor Field Services Team Member to support customer projects through material coordination, inventory management, and jobsite support. You will ensure materials are received, prepared, delivered, and managed safely to keep projects moving and minimize disruptions.

This role requires temporary relocation away from your primary residence for approximately 6-18 months. Responsibilities include coordinating materials for projects, managing inventory, and supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States for extended assignments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for customer projects.
• Manage incoming and outgoing project materials.
• Pick inventory, cut wire, label products, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through tracking and cycle counts.
• Support jobsite operations and material coordination.
• Deliver materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Inspect, maintain, and organize tools and equipment.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and other equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments.
• Collaborate with customers and internal business partners.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Cross-train and provide operational support across functions.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
