Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Traveling Field Service Technician II to support on-site installations across the US. The role is predominantly field-based with 75–80% travel; most installs last 5-8 days, including a weekend.

You will diagnose mechanical, software, network, and system issues and deliver high-quality on-site service. A High School Diploma or GED plus 1–2 years of tech or field service experience is required, along with a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent + 1–2 years of technical or field service experience.
  • Basic understanding of internet/network environments.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to complete the 20-day PDIF training.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (75- 80%), including overnight stays typically lasting up to a duration of 2 weeks.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active for most of the workday.
  • Comfortable with shift work, installs will involve Overtime and weekend work.

Please note: this is a customer-facing role, and requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.

We’re looking for a dedicated individual with:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent + 1–2 years of technical or field service experience.

Travel Note

In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated rate for this role:$21.50 - $30.75 hourly.
