Job summary

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking Field Service Technicians to travel to Levy locations across the U.S. to assess and repair heavy-duty, off-road construction equipment. The role involves hands-on diagnostics, welding and fabrication, and training less skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of off-road, heavy equipment.
• Expert knowledge of diesel engines and operations systems.
• Expert knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Expert knowledge of driveline components.
• Expert knowledge of steering mechanics and suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Travels to Levy locations via field service truck or air.
• Performs inspections of mobile equipment.
• Operates and inspects equipment to assess malfunctions.
• Uses computerized diagnostic system to assist with identification of malfunctions (CAT ET, Cummins).
• Marries recommendations for repair and parts to be ordered.
• Participates in training and development of less skilled mechanics.
• Maintains records and reporting.
• Meets customer service requirements.
• Complies with safety regulations and policies.
