Job summary

ATS Welding, LLC seeks traveling Fiber Regeneration Technicians to install, route, stitch, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic and low-voltage systems at customer sites, traveling as required. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently in a traveling field position with occasional overnight stays.

Experience with fiber testing (OTDR), preterminated fiber, and Telco Flex routing is preferred; willingness to

Qualifications

• Experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, low voltage, or related fields.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, wiring diagrams, and installation documents.
• Strong attention to cable routing, labeling, and workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fiber optic regeneration and telecommunications equipment.
• Run, route, dress, and secure fiber optic and low-voltage cabling.
• Route and stitch Telco Flex through racks, cabinets, pathways, and equipment areas.
• Perform fiber optic testing, troubleshooting, and certification.
