Job summary

ATS Welding, LLC is seeking experienced Traveling Fiber Regeneration Technicians to join our team. This traveling role requires hands-on experience in fiber optics, low-voltage systems, alarms, Telco Flex routing, and fiber testing.

You will travel to job sites to install, route, stitch, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic and low-voltage systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently in a field

Qualifications

• Experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, low voltage, or related communications work.
• Experience running, routing, stitching, and testing fiber optic cable.
• Hands-on experience with Telco Flex routing and stitching is preferred.
• Familiarity with OTDR and optical loss testing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fiber optic regeneration and telecommunications equipment.
• Run, route, dress, and secure fiber optic and low‑voltage cabling.
• Route and stitch Telco Flex through racks, cabinets, pathways, and equipment areas.
• Test fiber using OTDR and optical power meters; diagnose issues.
• Maintain installation documentation and safety compliance.
