Job summary

Hokanson-Companies,-Inc. is seeking a Roving Facilities Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across multiple commercial properties.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or related systems preferred.
At least three years of commercial building maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of boiler and HVAC system operation and maintenance.
Familiarity with digital controls, BAS, and CMMS.
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage maintenance across multiple properties.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between locations.
Basic computer proficiency and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Travel between assigned properties to perform scheduled maintenance, respond to service requests, and address urgent facility needs.
Operate and maintain facility equipment, such as boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, pumps, motors, and valves.
Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Monitor, record, and analyze equipment operating data; respond promptly to alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and associated control systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory for each assigned property.
Coordinate with property managers and the maintenance team to prioritize work across multiple locations.
Support energy management and conservation efforts by optimizing equipment operation and performance.
Respond to emergency calls involving equipment failures and system malfunctions at assigned properties.
Collaborate with facility engineers, contractors, and management on equipment upgrades, renovations, and capital projects.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
