Job summary
Crown Innovations is seeking a Communications Electronics Installation Technician to support our floating electronics installation crew. This role requires 100% travel across the United States and involves installing and integrating a complete communications facility including infrastructure, grounding, cabling, radios, and supporting systems.
The on-site technician will serve as a key resource interfacing with FAA personnel, work with installation teams, and grow into leadership
Qualifications
- US citizenship required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance.
- Associate degree or 2-year technical training plus 2 years' relevant experience.
- Ability to generate FAA FRDF documentation.
- Setup capability for Radio Control Equipment (RCE).
- Understanding of Telco requirements including fiber optics.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, align, test and troubleshoot VHF/UHF radios and related systems.
- Set up and support Radio Control Equipment (RCE).
- Connect Telco requirements including fiber optics and field cables.
- Install radio racks, radios, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Perform site surveys and generate required documentation.
- Interface with FAA personnel and installation crews in the field.
