The ideal candidate is a career-minded individual with a customer service focus, high energy, and attention to detail. Proven experience working well with subcontractors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of carpenters and contractors to ensure high-quality work that meets project schedules.
• Obtain or verify permits necessary for construction through subcontractors.
• Ensure safety compliance across all trades.
• Lead and facilitate regular contractor meetings.
• Create, manage, and update project schedules.
• Communicate schedule updates and changes effectively.
• Plan and coordinate jobsite logistics.
• Oversee the project quality plan and implement necessary improvements.
• Provide training opportunities for team members to promote continuous improvement and cross-training.

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with quick service restaurants.
• Previous experience as a construction superintendent.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and civil drawings.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience supervising a project team.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and ability to enforce safety plans.
