Job Summary

We are seeking a Traveling Executive Chef to support kitchen operations, maintain safety and sanitation, and prepare meals according to company standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity for energetic culinary professionals and involves working out of the St. Louis Market with nationwide support. Must be willing to travel overnight.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan menus according to guidelines.
  2. Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; complete production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
  3. Train kitchen staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation standards.
  4. Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  5. Manage inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
  6. Decide on the utilization of leftover food within company policies.
  7. Comply with health and sanitation regulations and pass audits.
  8. Follow safety policies and participate in meetings and staff development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice experience preferred.
  • Hands-on chef experience required.
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and food cost controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
