Job Description: Electrician - Commercial at Knight Electric

Location

Work can be in any city in Texas; we cover travel expenses to project sites.

Role Overview

We are seeking Commercial Electricians to travel across Texas and work on various electrical construction projects.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $25.00 - $35.00, based on experience and license.
• Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401K.

Travel Details

• Projects located in Texas and nearby states.
• Travel typically Sunday to Thursday, with occasional weekends.
• All travel expenses, including housing, mileage, and per diem, are covered.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience as an electrician.
• Experience with conduit, wiring, and device termination.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and drawings.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at various angles.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
• Availability for night and weekend work.
• Active Texas Apprentice License.
• OSHA 10 or higher certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• State Journeyman Electrical License.
• Experience with quality control, troubleshooting, and electrical systems in remodels or open-store settings.
