Job summary

Blattner Energy, a leading renewable energy contractor, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our field team across the United States. You will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems for utility-scale projects, interpret schematics, and ensure all work meets NEC codes and safety standards.

This hands-on role requires traveling to job sites, working outdoors in varying weather, and passing pre-employment screenings. We look for OSHA knowledge and a valid journeyman license.

Qualifications

• State-issued journeyman license or equivalent education/experience with willingness to obtain license
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screen
• Willingness to travel and relocate to job sites (100% travel)
• Ability to work consistently outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain conduit, grounding, motors, transformers, generators, lights, and wiring
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, electrical codes and safety standards
• Set major equipment including breakers, switches, instrument transformers, reactors, and capacitor banks
• Perform other labor-related responsibilities as needed
• Work outdoors for extended periods in diverse weather conditions
