Job summary

Amteck seeks a Journeyman Electrician 1 to perform electrical installation, alterations and repairs under a Foreman or Superintendent. Opportunity to learn additional divisions such as low voltage, controls and fire alarm while advancing in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities include precise conduit work, device installation, reading drawings, and leading Helpers/Apprentices on site; candidates should show strong safety focus and the ability to work weekends/overtime.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Equipped with all tools required by company policy and able to use them on task(s).
• Demonstrate the Amteck Way in daily work activities, behavior and decision making.
• Able to work project schedules including weekends and overtime.
• Interest and aptitude to learn job-related material on the job.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and conductors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuiting and read blueprints/Schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings; underground layouts included.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on site.
