Job summary

System One is actively seeking experienced Traveling Electricians to support a major FAA contract focused on upgrading critical navigation, communications, and weather monitoring systems across the U.S.

This fully travel-based role involves project work at airports and federal facilities nationwide, with rotations roughly every 6 weeks. The position offers a competitive pay rate, per diem, and fully reimbursed travel expenses.

Qualifications

• Experienced Electrician with 5+ years; no license required.
• Underground and above-ground electrical installations.
• Industrial, infrastructure, or construction environments experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel 100% nationwide.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass background, drug, MVR and DOT physical checks.

Responsibilities

• Install/upgrade FAA systems including ILS, PAPI, radar, RCAG.
• Perform trenching, conduit installation, and site infrastructure work.
• Operate construction equipment such as bobcat/mini excavator.
• Read and interpret drawings and project standards.
• Follow safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Conduct site cleanup and restoration.
