Job summary

Jobot is seeking Traveling Electrical Superintendents to support commercial retail projects across the United States. This role targets strong field leaders who can manage crews, coordinate with trades, and travel for extended periods.

Competitive base pay in the $130k–$150k range, plus bonus programs, housing/travel perks, and full benefits. The position requires extensive travel and hands-on project oversight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience managing commercial electrical projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems.
• Ability to travel consistently for projects.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews of 10 to 15+ team members on commercial electrical projects.
• Oversee new construction and renovation work in retail environments.
• Interpret blueprints and construction documents to guide site work.
• Coordinate installation of underground, overhead, and rough-in systems.
• Work with general contractors, subcontractors, and utility providers.
• Maintain project schedules and support budget adherence with the Project Manager.
• Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance.
• Complete daily reports and weekly time tracking.
• Operate equipment such as trenchers, lifts, and forklifts.
