Job summary

Amteck is seeking a traveling QAQC Coordinator for our new construction division. This role offers long-term opportunities and travel to various projects, with benefits and a 401K. You will help promote growth, diversify electrical skills, and learn additional systems within Amteck.

Training includes low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other areas. We value candidates who can read blueprints, interpret NEC, and enforce safety and quality on every site.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years of experience in the electrical construction field.
• Prefer at least 2 years' prior QAQC experience in the field.
• A valid JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred for this role.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and standards relating to electrical work.
• Must be able to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Capable of using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC for electrical construction projects across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, codes, and project specifications.
• Review blueprints and installation manuals to verify proper procedures.
