Job summary

Amteck is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator for our new construction division. This traveling role offers long-term opportunities and steady work, with benefits and a 401K. After project completion, you may transfer to another project within Amteck.

You will diversify your electrical skill set by learning across multiple disciplines within Amteck. Training in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation is provided. We value individuals who grow with us and show longevity in the trade.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years’ experience in the Electrical Construction Field.
• Prefer to have at least 2 years' prior experience as QAQC in the field.
• A valid JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred for this role.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and standards relating to electrical work.
• Must be able to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Capable of using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC processes across construction projects.
• Travel to project sites as required and manage field inspections.
• Read and interpret electrical plans, specs, and NEC regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance and quality.
