Job summary

Amteck is seeking a QAQC Coordinator for our new construction division. This traveling role offers opportunities for long-term projects and career growth within the company. You will gain exposure to low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation training as part of the role.

We value safety and longevity, with potential movement to other projects after completion. A JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years’ experience in the Electrical Construction Field.
• Prefer to have at least 2 years' prior experience as QAQC in the field.
• A valid JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred for this role.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and standards relating to electrical work.
• Must be able to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Capable of using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QAQC activities on electrical construction projects.
• Ensure adherence to NEC and industry standards across sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics for correct installations.
• Coordinate with field teams to verify quality and safety requirements.
