Job summary

Proactive Technical Limited is seeking Traveling Electrical Installers to support large-scale installation projects across the United States. This hands-on role focuses on physical installation and connection of industrial automation and controls equipment, not programming or maintenance.

The position is a six-month contract-to-hire with 100% travel, approximately 60 hours per week, and $60 per day in per diem. Travel expenses are covered and a company card is provided for approved costs.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience.
• Experience with low-voltage wiring and industrial equipment installations.
• Ability to read electrical prints, schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Complete point-to-point wiring and cable installation.
• Pull, route, label and terminate electrical and controls cabling.
• Connect field devices, sensors, motors and control equipment.
• Read and follow installation drawings and schematics.
• Use a multimeter to perform basic electrical checks.
• Support basic networking and Ethernet connections.
• Travel between project locations across the United States.
• Follow site safety procedures and electrical installation standards.
• Collaborate with controls, commissioning and site teams.
