Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Traveling Electrical General Foreman to lead field operations on a major commercial project in Barstow, Texas. You will supervise electrical crews, coordinate skilled trades, read blueprints, and ensure safety and schedule adherence on site.

You will work as a W2 employee with guaranteed 40 hours plus overtime, per diem, housing, and a company truck. A Journeyman or Master Electrician license and NEC knowledge are highly valued for success on this assignment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Electrical Foreman/General Foreman or similar supervisory role.
• Experience managing multiple electrical crews in the field.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of electrical crews and subcontractors on the job site
• Manage multiple crews, manpower, workflow, and field priorities
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and project plans
• Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower requirements, and field production
• Coordinate with Project Managers and General Contractors to keep work moving
• Communicate material needs, workforce requirements, project status, and potential challenges
• Provide technical direction to Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, and Apprentices
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and resolve field challenges
• Maintain quality control and electrical code compliance
• Enforce OSHA requirements and company safety procedures
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field training
• Hold crews accountable for quality, safety, production, and schedule
