Job summary

Capstone Solutions, a locally owned construction telecommunications company, seeks an Electrical / Electrician Apprentice for the greater Kent/Seattle area. Must be willing to travel and per diem is provided. Candidates should have basic understanding of schematics, be able to run wire, install components, and follow directions.

High school diploma or GED required; background check and drug screen will be performed. This is a safety sensitive, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications as required by clients.
• Ability to run wire and install electrical components/equipment in a neat and quality manner.
• Ability to take directions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to learn and use electronic testing equipment.
• Support all aspects of electrical equipment installations.
• Organize materials and tools to work efficiently and maintain clean and neat work areas.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours (i.e., shift work), to include nights and weekends, when needed.
• Self-starter with the desire and ability to learn and retain new knowledge.
• Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Good work ethic, positive attitude, and team-mentality.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75+ lbs.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to learn and retain new information.
• Hold valid driver's license with good MVR and reliable form of transportation.
• High School graduate, GED or equivalent.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical fit for work tasks.
