Job summary

MC Machinery Systems Inc. is seeking a field service technician to diagnose faults, perform on-site repairs on Mitsubishi Sinker EDM systems, and guide customers through resolution.

Travel 100% Monday–Friday across the United States, with occasional international trips, and communicate clearly to keep uptime. Applicants should read mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams, have CNC familiarity, and hold a two-year electronic or technical degree.

Qualifications

• Two-year electronic/technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on use of electrical test/inspection equipment (voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Proven background in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with precision metrology (dial indicators, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform on-site repairs on Mitsubishi Sinker EDM systems.
• Disassemble, rebuild, align, and verify mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Guide customers by phone to isolate faults when site visits aren’t required.
• Translate schematics into actionable fixes and document resolutions.
• Maintain thorough records of issues, parts usage, and follow-ups.
• Interact with customers via clear, professional communication.
