Job summary

Rock Spring Contracting, LLC seeks a Traveling Drywall Superintendent to oversee drywall and framing on commercial projects across multiple locations. This role involves traveling, residing on-site for assignments, and coordinating crews, subcontractors, and materials to meet safety, schedule, and quality standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, proactive safety, and on-site communication with general contractors, inspectors, and project management, with enhanced compensation and paid

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction field.
• Strong leadership and ability to resolve conflict.
• Proficient in speaking and writing English and Spanish.
• Proficient with iPad and field apps (Verifico, PlanGrid, Email).
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Willingness to travel extensively and live at project locations for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and reside at assigned project locations for the duration of each job.
• Lead field operations for drywall and framing on commercial projects.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment on site.
• Attend meetings with GC field personnel and project management.
• Review schedules and budgets; monitor production and quality.
