Job summary

Cascade Environmental, LLC seeks skilled drillers to join our field crews. The role involves operating drill rigs, maintaining logs, and training team members in safe drilling practices.

Expect travel across the Northwest region, with per diem and lodging provided, plus overtime and project bonuses. A CDL Class A and State Driller License are preferred, with at least 3 years drilling experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the drilling industry, with at least one (1) year of experience operating a variety of rigs (sonic, rotary, auger).
• CDL Class A and State Driller License is preferred.
• Negative drug test.
• Satisfactory results of a background check (and authorization to conduct) – offenses reviewed case-by-case.
• Possessing a valid Driver's License for the state of residence with Satisfactory MVR.
• Obtaining and maintaining an interstate DOT Medical Card and meeting FMCSA requirements to operate a CMV.
• Passing a HAZWOPER physical.
• Proof of legal right to work in the United States (IRCA).
• Respiratory protection requirements may apply per site plan or air monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill rigs and drilling equipment with high proficiency.
• Maintain daily drilling reports.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Lead a drilling crew by training and mentoring employees in a safe environment.
• Maintain up-to-date MSDS, CEU's and JSA's.
• Approve employee timesheets.
• Complete well logs, logbooks, repair orders and DVIRs.
• Promote positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Maintain all required certifications.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
