Job summary

CVS Health seeks a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support store pharmacy teams across the district. You will step in for Pharmacy Manager on busy days and help ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

This full-time role requires active pharmacist license, NPI, and ability to travel; compensation includes a competitive hourly pay range, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to impact patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
Maintain medication safety by accurate dispensing and labeling, and ensure patient safety.
Demonstrate patient-centered service and effective communication with patients and teammates.
Support pharmacy operations and inventory management, including cold-chain products.
