American Senior Communities in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Director of Nursing Float (RN) to provide leadership, guidance and operational support across multiple sites while traveling throughout the Fort Wayne area. This role requires an Indiana RN license with at least three years as a Director of Nursing in long-term care, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will assess nursing leadership, drive quality improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor Directors of

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license is current and active.
• Minimum of three years Director of Nursing experience in long-term care.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of current Federal and State laws and regulations that apply to nursing in long-term care.
• Demonstrates ASC's CARE values to residents, families, customers and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assess and support nursing leadership teams to improve clinical operations and patient care outcomes.
• Evaluate and enhance nursing programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide consultation and mentorship to Directors of Nursing and clinical managers.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and drive performance improvement projects.
• Conduct audits, identify gaps, and recommend strategic solutions for nursing departments.
• Deliver training and development programs to nursing staff and leadership.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align clinical goals with organizational objectives.
