Job summary

DirectShifts seeks a Traveling Dentist to serve residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will assess dental health, discuss treatment plans, perform limited procedures, and conduct oral cancer screenings across local sites.

This two-day-per-week role offers a flexible schedule with a daily pay rate of $850, plus drive time and clinic time compensation capped at 8 hours. Must hold an active North Carolina dental license and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Active NC dental license in good standing.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record in last 5 years.
• Own reliable transportation to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess dental health and address dental concerns.
• Develop and discuss treatment plans with residents and facility staff.
• Perform limited procedures and maintain accurate dental records.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings.
• Coordinate with facilities and families to ensure daily oral hygiene support.
