Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a Traveling Mobile Dentist to deliver high-quality care in skilled nursing facilities. You will assess dental health, discuss treatment plans, perform limited procedures, and conduct oral cancer screenings while traveling between locations.

You are paid for all drive and clinic time, with a guaranteed daily pay rate of $850–$1000 for a 3-day-per-week schedule. This role supports flexible scheduling and mobile patient care.

Qualifications

• Active dental license in Indiana in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations in last 5 years.
• Own reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans to manage, improve, and treat dental and oral health issues.
• Perform exams, fillings, extractions, and denture-related services.
• Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays.
• Apply agents to arrest decay, e.g., silver diamine fluoride.
• Maintain accurate dental records.
• Coordinate with facility and family to support daily oral hygiene.
