Compensation: $25.25 - $35.00 / Hourly

Role Summary

The primary role of the Dental Assistant is to support the success of the clinicians through effective delivery of the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), thus creating a Patient for Life (PFL). Dental assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, including preparing patients for oral examinations and assisting dental professionals in providing treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform functions in accordance with state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
  2. Participate actively in PPE, focusing on patient-centered care.
  3. Escort patients and introduce them to team members as appropriate.
  4. Ensure smooth scheduling and communication with the dental team.
  5. Maintain a clean and sterile environment, sterilize instruments, and prepare operatory for procedures.
  6. Assist with radiographs, intra-oral pictures, and tray setups.
  7. Support patient education on oral health and document patient information accurately.
  8. Support clinical operations by ensuring supplies are available and equipment is maintained.
  9. Participate in team meetings and uphold company values and standards.
  10. Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; additional training or certification as mandated by state.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance for Specialty Dental Assistants, with reliable transportation.
  • Travel readiness to multiple locations as required.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential patient records and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
