Job summary

Pacific Dental Services, LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians across procedures and patient care, enabling a Perfect Patient Experience. You will assist with radiographs, instrument sterilization, charting, and patient education while maintaining a clean, sterile environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with front/back office, supporting specialty areas as needed, and traveling to multiple offices with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: As mandated by applicable state.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, and travel to multiple offices as needed.
• Specialty Dental Assistant must have reliable means of travel to multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions in accordance with the applicable state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist PPE to ensure optimal patient care and attend to individual patient needs.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Communicate with front and back office to ensure clinicians' schedules run smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment; prep operatory per infection control guidelines.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentist to provide quality care.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by clinician.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supply levels in each operatory.
