Job summary

Dental Care Alliance in Florida is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our care team. You will prepare treatment rooms, take records, assist dentists in 4-handed dentistry, and help with radiography and patient education.

Candidates must be X-ray certified in FL with hands-on dental assisting experience; travel to sister offices is required with mileage reimbursement. We offer competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification in FL required.
• One-year certified dental assistant program completed.
• Six months on-the-job experience with documentation.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing to travel; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Clinical support: prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist dentists.
• Patient care: welcome, educate on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & diagnostics: take/develop X-rays, assist with impressions and study models.
• Compliance & safety: infection control, patient confidentiality, regulatory adherence.
• Document scheduling and patient intake as needed.
• Assist in emergencies with CPR certification maintained.
