Job summary

Van Meter is seeking a Traveling Delivery Driver to safely deliver products and represent the company professionally. You will build customer relationships, ensure accurate deliveries, and maintain DOT compliance while performing vehicle upkeep.

This role requires relocation away from home for about 6–18 months and up to 100% over-the-road travel with shifts including overtime. A valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one) and clean driving record are required.

PLEASE NOTE: This position requires relocation away from your primary residence for approximately 6-18 months at a time.

Working Conditions

• Work performed indoors, outdoors, and in customer environments?
• Frequent exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions?
• Moderate noise levels from vehicles, equipment, and warehouse operations?
• Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, and mechanical hazards?
• Regular customer interaction and independent work?
• May require non-standard shifts, extended hours, and temporary third-shift coverage?
• Required use of applicable PPE and adherence to DOT and safety requirements?
• Travel Requirements: Up to 100% over-the-road and expected to relocate at a minimum of every 6 – 18 months
• Shift Demands: Extended hours and/or over-the-road assignments. Rotating schedule dependent on customer demand. Expected 45–60-hour work weeks.
