Job summary

Subzero Engineering in San Antonio, TX is seeking experienced Traveling Installation Technicians to support data center projects across the United States. You will install hot aisle and cold aisle containment systems and travel 4 to 6 weeks at a time, returning home between assignments.

Ideal candidates have data center construction experience, can read installation drawings, and are mechanically inclined. We provide comprehensive benefits and safety training, including OSHA certifications.

Qualifications

• Data center construction experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret basic construction drawings and instructions.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for extended project durations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on installation ability.

Responsibilities

• Install hot aisle and cold aisle containment systems at active data center sites.
• Read and follow installation drawings, layouts, and work instructions.
• Assemble, measure, drill, mount, and secure containment components.
• Travel nationwide to support project installations.
• Work safely and adhere to site safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project leads to complete projects on schedule.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide field solutions.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and submit travel expenses and documentation.
• Represent Subzero Engineering professionally on customer sites.
• Complete required safety training, including OSHA certifications.
