Job summary

Independence Excavating seeks a Traveling Crushing Foreman to oversee crushing projects from start to finish. You will manage crews on-site, ensure proper maintenance, and operate equipment while meeting production targets in a safety-conscious environment.

The role emphasizes coordinating mobilization, scheduling resources, and maintaining documentation. Strong leadership, MSHA/OSHA knowledge, and a track record in aggregation equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years related construction experience required.
• Strong organizational and people skills.
• Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret material testing procedures and gradations.
• Review project details with PM and Superintendent before start.
• Carry out operating and maintenance procedures for crushing equipment.
• Coordinate mobilization of crusher equipment with the Superintendent.
• Schedule resources and maintain efficient daily work schedules.
• Maintain subcontractor tickets and verify accuracy with PM.
• Submit time, receipts, JSA's and safety/inspection forms.
• Coordinate with equipment managers to optimize maintenance and usage.
• Perform all necessary paperwork and uphold safety practices.
