Job summary

The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates is seeking a full-time Staff Auditor for the Credit Union Audit Group. The role requires travel across Tennessee to perform cash counts, interim and annual reports, and compliance audits, with strong math aptitude and time management essential.

Staff Auditors will maintain relationships with regulators, complete technical audits, and assist with training for credit union personnel while promoting LEVERAGE products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or on track to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Six to twelve months of general accounting experience.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to state/federal credit unions and ability to detect violations.
• Credit Union experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• CUCE/BSACS designations preferred or must be obtained within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different credit unions to conduct cash counts, interim and annual reports, and compliance audits.
• Perform highly technical audits and management analysis.
• Maintain relationships with federal and state supervisory agencies and document work contacts, activities, and expense reports in NetSuite.
• Promote LEVERAGE products and services to generate leads for Business Development teams.
