Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a Cost Controller to lead project controls activities across our utility and industrial EPC initiatives. You will establish budgets, manage change control, and perform cost forecasting and earned value analyses for diverse projects across the US.

This traveling role requires up to 90% travel, with base salary plus per diem and mobilization support. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of project controls cost analysis or related experience preferred.
• Professional certifications (AACE/PMI) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish project budgets, change management and progress measurement programs.
• Demonstrate cost forecasting and trend analysis for projects of varying size.
• Prepare narratives on cost, progress and change in weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure project controls oversight and client reporting requirements.
