Job summary

OBR Management is seeking Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians to join the Gulf Coast team in a field-based role that involves frequent travel. You will work under foremen and superintendents to maintain and clean cooling tower equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

The role emphasizes precise cleaning, safe use of power washers, and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced, on-the-road environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Negative 10 panel urine analysis and breath alcohol test.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of U.S. citizenship.
• Satisfactory background check.
• DISA background screen score of 2 or less.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks with precision and attention to detail to ensure equipment quality.
• Operate power washers safely and select appropriate spray heads.
• Follow supervisor instructions to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project completion.
• Uphold safety, efficiency, and quality standards throughout all phases of work.
• Maintain high cleaning standards without compromising timeliness or safety.
• Perform pre- and post-treatment activities, including measuring free chlorine levels in cooling tower water.
• Complete THA cards and safety documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Read and apply MSDS information and practice proper chemical handling techniques.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off above 4 feet.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
