Equiliem is seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Traveling Maintenance Technician for a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Philadelphia. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and repair of conveyor systems across multiple sites. Ideal candidates should have hands-on mechanical and electrical experience, and a customer-facing mindset.
This position includes benefits upon conversion, such as medical insurance and a 401k match. The schedule is on-call with 1 week on and 2 weeks off, providing independence and training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining and repairing conveyor systems in a package distribution or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
- MIG welding experience is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on conveyor systems.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Handle low-voltage electrical work.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Provide regional travel and on-call support.
- Perform MIG welding as needed.
