Job summary

Viacore Solutions seeks a Belt Conveyor Technician to join our belt conveyor splicing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with splicing, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in industrial environments, including high‑voltage systems and hydraulics.

This role requires traveling to job sites, long hours, and physically demanding work in manufacturing, mining, or bulk handling environments.

Qualifications

Experience in belt conveyor splicing or industrial conveyor maintenance.
Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical and hydraulic knowledge preferred.
Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Perform conveyor belt splicing (hot, cold, and mechanical) and belt installations.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and related equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Work safely around high‑voltage systems and heavy machinery.
Read and interpret work scopes, drawings, and job specifications.
Provide professional, customer‑focused service at job sites.
Travel to customer locations and work extended or irregular hours as required.
