Job summary

Horizon Retail Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent (National Traveling) to lead on-site construction activities for retail tenant improvements across the United States. You will coordinate with the HQ Project Managers and travel to multiple jobs, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Requirements include 5+ years in commercial fast-track construction, OSHA knowledge, and strong leadership with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial fast track construction.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Strong understanding of retail tenant improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Understanding of subcontractor responsibilities.
• Onsite technology proficiency.
• OSHA standards knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and professional.
• Proven track record of running successful projects.
• Intermediate knowledge of Outlook for emailing/docs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction at the jobsite and ensure progress aligns with plans.
• Serve as point person on each job site, coordinating with HQ Project Managers.
• Travel nationwide (100%) to manage multiple sites.
• Direct subcontractors and client vendors to meet timelines.
