The ideal candidate has 5+ years in superintendent roles in commercial construction, deep knowledge of restaurant-specific requirements, and proven leadership managing on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent or site management role within the commercial construction industry.
• Deep technical knowledge of restaurant-specific construction, including specialized utility and kitchen requirements.
• Proven ability to manage the logistics of traveling for work, including spending approximately 80% of your time away from home.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing subcontractor teams on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily on-site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specific restaurant brand standards.
• Manage and coordinate diverse groups of subcontractors to maintain high-quality workmanship and site safety.
• Communicate daily with the owner and office personnel to provide real-time updates on project milestones and obstacles.
• Interpret architectural blueprints and technical specifications to guide the physical build process from ground-break to turnover.
• Conduct rigorous quality control inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the project timeline.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site that reflects the reputation of Henson Construction.
