Job summary

Place Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee the West Region projects. This role requires frequent travel to client sites and supervision of design-build construction teams, ensuring work aligns with drawings and schedules.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, and completing on-site documentation. A 5+ year background in supervision, OSHA 10, and a valid driver's license are essential; willingness

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior construction superintendent experience.
• Read and understand drawings and specs and ensure scopes are completed per prints and specs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time and possess a valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 10 hour, basic first aid & CPR training.
• Be able to work nights if required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, inspect, and approve day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects.
• Complete on-site paperwork and documentation.
• Coordinate construction activities with store management, subcontractors, and PSI employees.
• Represent PSI with professionalism and integrity.
• Schedule, lead, and manage subcontractors and hold them accountable for results.
• Ensure safe working environment and enforce safety standards.
• Document meetings, safety meetings, reports, and daily logs.
• Maintain project schedule and communicate progress to stakeholders.
