Job Title: Traveling Construction Superintendent

J & J 2000, Inc. is looking to hire a Traveling Construction Superintendent based out of our Westminster, Maryland Office. This position will be expected to travel up to 90% of the time. Travel is Nationwide.

Job Description:

1. Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
2. Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs
3. Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline
4. Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
5. Create schedules for workers and subcontractors
6. Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly
7. Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary
8. Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
9. Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient
10. Assist with division 09 as required to complete projects

Job Requirements:

1. Clean background check required
2. Able to pass Urinalysis (entry and random)
3. Valid Driver License
4. Legal to work in USA
5. 5+ years of Construction Superintendent Experience (Airport experience is a plus)
6. Computer, iPad, iPhone Experience
7. Procore Experience
8. OSHA 30
9. Army CQM Certification is a plus
