Job summary

Divcon, a Dallas-based leader in building automation, is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects nationwide. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage scopes and budgets, review submittals, and report progress to senior management while frequently traveling to job sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure on-time delivery, maintain budget adherence, and uphold safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction project management with client-facing responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and building automation.
• Electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail.
• OSHA 30 certification required or completed within the first two years.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets for timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and controls technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain proactive client communication and manage expectations.
• Review engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track changes, POs, and project expenses to maintain budget.
• Provide monthly project updates and financial reporting to management.
• Maintain project records in DivPro.
